Introduction to Perinatal Mental Health 1
This is the first of a series of five e-learning micro skills course from The Royal College of General Practitioners and NHS Health Education England aimed at raising awareness and understanding of mental health problems in the perinatal period. For the purpose of this series of micro skills courses, the perinatal period refers to the period in which a woman is pregnant and the first year following the birth of that baby. It is aimed at all members of the multidisciplinary professional healthcare team who may come into contact with women during this time. It is recommended that after completing this initial micro skills course, you should complete subsequent micro skills courses in the series to expand and consolidate your knowledge and understanding.
