About the Course

Learn the knowledge, tools and skills to build your personal psychological resilience capacity to respond to change, challenge and adversity (both professionally and personally).

The course also invites you to create your own (simple) personal resilience action plan which you can take away with you.
Developed by a psychologist and neuroscientist, this evidence-based course features lots of practical tools and tips to help build your resilience, visually appealing graphics, is highly interactive, and uses multimedia such as animations and videos.

The course consists of three modules:

  • Building Resilience

Ideal for all employees, including

  • Office-based, onsite or mobile employees, consultants, contractors or team members at all levels.
Complementing the Building Resilience - Leaders eLearning course, the
Building Resilience for Employee's version is a 60 minute eLearning course for all levels of employees in an organisation.
It has been designed to provide employees and the broader workforce with the knowledge and skills to develop their personal resilience.
At completion of the course participants will be able to:

  • Define and understand the evidence-based qualities and characteristics of resilience.
  • Identify their individual strengths and opportunities for development of coping with life’s stressors and difficulties.
  • Understand the biology and psychology of stress.
  • Understand and apply the attitudes and behaviours of resilient individuals through the 7 evidence-based tools to deal more effectively with change, challenge and adversity.
  • Apply their personal resilience action plan for developing their personal resilience

A certificate will be issued on completion of the course.
